Our modern workshop encummbers 720 square metres of floor space with our main assembly area comprising approximately 280 square metres. Separate areas are allocated for the following procedures-

                3. Cleaning Room                             8. Techincal Library

                4. Steel Shot Peening                        9. Mezzenine Level

                5. Painting

We boast all modern tooling, which is either manufactured by the OEM or is approved by them as an alternate. All specialised processes have to meet stringent requirements and samples must be regularly set to the manufacturer for evalution and approval. East Coast Propellers are proud to be approved for the following processes-

   1. Blade Cold Rolling

   2. "Y" Shank Blade Pitch Change Kob Shot Peening

   3. Alluminium hub Shot Peening

   4. Blade Surface Shot Peening

   5. Steel Hub and Clamp Shot Peening

East Coast Propellers is able to service and support all propellers from the small  2 blade fixed pitch commonly used on training aircraft to the big 4 and 5 blade turbo reversing models. All overhaul requirement are carried out in house with the only exception being cadmium plating, which is sub-contracted to CASA approved facilities. All cold rolling and shot peening processes are performed in house as is the re-finishing of all components.

East Coast Propellers are usually able to turn your propeller around in the minimum time to get you back in the air quicker. We do carry a limited range of loan and exchange propellers but in most instances can have your propeller back to you within 1 to 2 weeks depending on any defects found. We can also support the transportation of your propeller with generous discounts on freight.
