EAST COAST PROPELLERS are proud of their association with Hartzell Propellers and the appointment as an AUTHORISED HARTZELL SERVICE CENTRE is further proof of the commitment to quality that East Coast Propellers undertake. In conjunction to our regular audits by C.A.S.A., F.A.A., Malaysian and Thailand Authorities, we are audited every 2-3 years by Hartzell Propellers themselves. All our tooling and specialized test equipment is either supplied or approved by Hartzell Propellers. This includes the cold rolling machine, optical comparator and the perthometre for measuring the surface finish on the cold rolled surface. From April 2003, we commissioned the tooling and have the capability with factory training, to carry out the shot peening of the pitch change knobs of "Y" shank blades that became a mandatory requirement at overhaul in September 2003.

Being an AUTHORIZED HARTZELL SERVICE CENTRE gives us direct links with the factory and a more competitive price on spares or even a new Top Prop propeller. In most instances, we can have blades, parts or a new Top Prop in our workshop at Sydney's Bankstown Airport in approximately 1-2 weeks.
